Dr Jim RushtonDr Jim Rushton graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1982 and has practised back in Hobart since 1991. He worked on King Island after graduation for eighteen months, and then overseas for seven years. Jim has specialised interests in implants and other advanced reconstructive areas of dentistry. He is a regular attendee of post- graduate courses having completed several post graduate programmes both in Australia and overseas. |

Dr Kevin McGregorDr Kevin McGregor graduated in 1996 after a previous career as a medical research scientist. His professional interests are particularly in the area of implant surgery, tissue regeneration as well as conventional crown and bridgework. Every year he undertakes many hours of continuing education. Dr McGregor is assisted by Sabrina. He is married and has two beautiful daughters. Outside of work he is a keen photographer, enjoys cooking, bushwalking, good wine, computers and spending time with his wife and daughters. |

HYGIENISTSOur hygienists are the back bone of the practice. Their role involves the detection, prevention and treatment of dental disease. They all belong to their associations and regularly attend post-graduate courses. |

Alyson McKinlayAlyson has worked extensively around Australia for over twenty years as both therapist and hygienist. Leanne PreeceLeanne joined Prime Dental in December 2003 having just qualified in Adelaide. She has many years experience both as a dental assistant and therapist. Leanne loves people of all ages, especially children and the elderly. Her outside interests are many, including karate, nature, animals, good company and conversation. Leanne is married with three children. |

glennda McGregorHaving worked as a Registered Nurse for many years, Glennda brings a wealth of expereince in patient care to Prime Dental. With qualification in Nursing and Dental Therapy, Glennda ensures the practice runs smoothly, carrying out a multitude of administrative, human resources and financial tasks that greatly contribute to making the practice what it is. Outside of work Glennda has two daughters who keep her very busy. Gardening, bushwalking, staying fit and the occasional trip away with the family keeps life fabulously full. |

PATIENT CO-ORDINATOROur administration staff are dedicated to making your visit to our practice as comfortable and convenient as humanly possible. They will endeavour to call you in the rare event we are running behind schedule. On your arrival you will be offered a cool drink or a warm beverage, and made to feel at home in our patient lounge. |

Helen WilsonHelen joined Prime Dental Practice in March 2003, the first week we opened our new premises in Gregory Street! She has had extensive experience working over ten years in the dental industry on the North West coast of Tasmania before relocating to Hobart with her family in October 2002. Helen is married with three childred, two of whom are school age and live at home, whilst her eldest is working and living in Western Australia. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the southern end of Tassie, bike riding on the Pipeline track, fishing off the Woodbridge jetty, good coffee at Salamanca, walking along the beautiful Southern beaches, showing it off and dining with family and friends from out of town. |

SENIOR CARE NURSESOur care nurses have all attained their certificates in dental assisting, and are involved in ongoing training with the rest of our team in all aspects of patient care. They are directly involved with your treatment and are instrumental in you having a relaxed, efficient and friendly visit. |

Anna CartledgeAnna Joined Prime Dental in February 2004 as part of the Hygiene Department, completing her Dental Assisting Certificate in 2005. She is now Dr Rushton's care nurse.Married with two daughters, she ejoys cooking, walking and relaxing with family and friends. |
